On Saturday, November 18th, Ravi Iyer and Anish Tripuramallu hosted a Mock Model United Nations conference. From hosting and managing the conference to handling finances and logistics, Ravi and Anish made it all happen seamlessly. Their dedication extended beyond the event day, as they’ve been consistently supporting our students during weekly after-school club meetings.
Students in the Model United Nations Club stepped into the shoes of UN delegates, representing their assigned countries across two committees: Renewable Energy and Deep Sea Mining.
With weeks of preparation behind them, students arrived ready to showcase their research and diplomatic skills. The day was filled with energetic debates, strategic negotiations, impactful speeches, and collaborative resolution drafting. Watching the students engage with such enthusiasm and dedication was truly inspiring. Their hard work and progress since the start of the year were evident in every aspect of the conference.
This event marked another milestone for our budding diplomats, and we can’t wait to see what they achieve next. Great job, everyone!
